for over four decades.

A good rule of thumb is to book your DJ once you’ve chosen your venue.  Most clients will book their DJ a minimum of six months to a year in advance to ensure Brian’s availability.

The fee is determined by the number of hours you need (package chosen)  plus add-ons (e.g. additional sound system needed in a separate location for your ceremony or cocktail hour, travel distance to your venue), date and time.

Absolutely!

The contract agreement contains the event details, client’s personal information, the venue’s info, contact information, services being booked, total time contracted for, event date, event type, total booked fees, deposit amount and due date, balance amount and due date, and other specific details relevant to the DJ services provided.

Yes. If you wish to extend the party time, it’s recommended you speak with Brian at least one half hour before your contract end time. Then check with the venue’s banquet manager to find out if it’s ok to do so. If you have the manager’s approval, the additional fee for overtime DJ services must be paid in advance.

The final balance is due 14 days prior to your event, and should be in the form of guaranteed funds – a certified personal check, Teller’s (Cashier’s) check or money order. Unfortunately, Brian Michael’s DJ Entertainment does not accept credit cards for payment of the final balance due.

Contact Brian Michaels asap to discuss.

Weddings and other events are private; therefore,  prospective clients cannot  “drop in.” However,  references, online reviews, and the information Brian can provide in your initial meeting will speak volumes of his entertainment experience, style and professionalism.

Please ask.  Professional DJs are likely familiar with plenty of venues in their area. However, if your wedding is the first one they’ll work at the venue, it can be helpful to do a walk-through before so they know exactly what equipment they’ll need. And though this is often something they’ll coordinate on their own, it won’t hurt to double-check ahead of time.

Yes, simply select the Ceremony Package, which is an “add-on” to the entertainment package.  This package includes 45 minutes of time, allotting 15 minutes for prelude (pre-ceremony) music, and 30 minutes for the ceremony for music and sound.  A wireless microphone is provided for the Officiant and readers to use.

You’ll need to provide Brian a list of specific song selections for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing no later than 2 weeks in advance of the date of your event.

The Online Client Portal gives you access to the music management system offering you a very large library of songs from all eras and genres.  If, however, there’s a song or version of a song you’d like played at your event that is not included in the online music library, and found elsewhere, please advise your DJ weeks in advance to allow time to get your selection(s).

A gratuity is never expected but always appreciated. You can base it upon the DJ’s overall performance.  It will serve as a thank-you for a job well done.
